Day 1 : Welcome to Turkey, start your journey from Cappadocia – known for its fairy chimneys and tall, cone-shaped rock formation.

Arrive Istanbul, the Capital of Turkey. Proceed to the domestic airport for your connecting flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival at Kayseri, drive to Cappadocia, best known for its moon-like landscape, Underground cities, caves, churches and houses in the rocks. Meet your friendly Travel Professional outside the baggage hall and proceed to your conveniently located hotel. (Check-in after 1500 hrs.).

Day 2 : Get smitten by the beauty of the city on a guided tour of Cappadocia.

Today enjoy a day trip of Cappadocia. Start with the Red Valley and the rock cut churches. Later visit the Kaymakli -Underground City where early Christians lived in fear as well as faith. Visit the panoramic Pigeon Valley where pigeons contributed to the lives of locals. Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 3 : Continue Guided tour of Cappadocia. Fly to Istanbul – the Capital of Turkey.

Stroll around the famous valleys of Cappadocia like Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley. There are lots of Fair Chimneys and Pasabag Valley wherein Mushroom shaped fairy chimneys can be seen. Walk and explore the UNESCO World Heritage site – Goreme open air museum, which is Cave churches containing beautiful frescoes and finest rock cut churches. We will end the day with a panoramic visit at Uchisar and we will drive from below the castle of Uchisar, the rock formations and pigeon shelters and the Esentepe. Later proceed to Kayseri airport to take the flight to Istanbul. Arrive at Istanbul and transfer to the Hotel (Check-in time 15:00).

Day 4 : Guided tour of Istanbul with the view of magnificent Blue Mosque.

Today visit the Hippodrome (Serpent Column, Obelisk of Theodosius & German Fountain of Wilhelm): Visit the square once used as a sporting arena predating Constantinople itself. Though a few fragments of the original structure survive, the square still boasts some of the most glorious monuments built in this great city. The Serpent Column, Obelisk of Theodosius & German Fountain of Wilhelm are the ancient treasures to be seen. Later proceed to St. Sophia - this architectural wonder was a former Greek Orthodox Patriarchal Basilica, built in the 4th century by Constantine the Great. Following the capture of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks in 1453, Mehmet the Conqueror declared the Hagia Sophia a mosque and it was considered as one of the holiest Islamic temples of the world. Finally under the order of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the Council of Ministers the Hagia Sophia opened as a museum in 1935. View the Blue Mosque, this breath-taking building is one of the most majestic Ottoman mosques in all of Turkey. We will see Basilica Cistern, a giant underground cistern built by Justinian in 532 to provide water to the city in cases of siege. Then visit the Grand Bazaar, the largest and most famous covered bazaars of Istanbul dating back to 15th century.

Day 5 : Continue guided tour of Istanbul with visit to Dolmabahce Palace and Observatory deck of Galata Tower.

Today pass the Taksim and Istiklal Street and visit the Galata Tower to explore 360 degree view of the city. Later visit the Dolmabahce Palace - which was the last residence for Ottoman Sultans with 365 rooms and 22 saloons, famous for the great collection of European antiques, furniture and a 4.5 tons chandelier. Next, stop at the Camlica Hill the highest point in Istanbul. Atop the hill, you can admire the magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosporus from the beautiful gardens, landscaped in traditional Turkish Ottoman style.

Day 6 : Fly to Athens – Capital of Greece. Visit Delphi - ancient town and seat of the most important Greek temple and oracle of Apollo.

This morning transfer to airport for your flight to Athens. On arrival, board your coach and proceed to Delphi, one the most popular archaeological site in Greece. Delphi was believed to be the centre of the earth and was the most important religious centre of ancient Greece.  It is one of the most beautiful and mystical sites in the world. The ancient Greeks chose this unique spot for their most sacred and famous Oracle, dedicated to Apollo, which influenced the fate of states and individuals for about 1000 years. The Museum of Delphi is one of the best museums Greece has to offer, as it shelters some very important works of Art from ancient Greece. Evening return to Athens.

Day 7 : Enjoy an orientation tour of the city of Athens. Visit the Acropolis Museum as well as Parthenon.

Today enjoy an orientation tour at Athens, wherein we come across Hadrian’s Arch Monument – part of a wall separating the old and new cities of Athens. View Royal Palace from outside, see the Temple of Olympia Zeus – a colossal ruined temple. Later visit the Acropolis and the Propylae, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon and Erechtheion. The Acropolis Museum is another highlight on this tour, a perfect follow-up to exploring the sights at the Acropolis itself. Recognized as one of the top museums in the world, get close to the impressive marble masterpieces found on the Acropolis. Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 8 : Onto Mykonos by ferry

This proceed to the pier for your ferry to Mykonos. Arrive Mykonos and get transferred to the hotel (Check-in time 15:00). Rest of the day is freeat leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 9 : Experience the city of Mykonos on a guided walking tour.

Today walk down the Mykonian history "alley", coastal paved road, Manto Square, where the famous monument of Manto Mavrogenous stands. Visit little Venice, five in a row windmills, which still stand proudly. View the elaborate church of Panagia Paraportiani from outside and experience one of the most famous architectural structures in Greece.

Day 10 : Ferry from Mykonos to Santorini. Guided walking tour of Fira the capital of Santorini.

Proceed to the port of Mykonos to take the ferry to Santorini Island. Arrive Santorini and proceed to Fira for a guided walking tour. Being the capital of Santorini, it provides a vast variety of sightseeing and "things to do". The walk through the narrow streets of Fira is a typical representation of the most common characteristic of the Cycladic islands, the small shops packed one next to the other, the pebbled streets, the traditional houses with the small blue and sun-burned verandas and of course the amazing view which distinguishes Santorini from every other island. We will use the Cable Car to go to the Old port of Santorini and back.

Day 11 : Enjoy a trip of Santorini Island.

Visit the hidden gems of the Santorini Island. The first stop of the tour is the 16th century Monastery of Prophet Elias which was built on the highest point of the Island 567 meters above sea level for a panoramic view of the whole island. Continue to the village of Pyrgos, with its Cycladic architecture, Byzantine churches and a Venetian Castle. The village is one of the highest points of the Island and the View is amazing overlooking the North West part of Santorini. We will see the Perivolos Beach and the Red Beach. Next, visit the traditional village of Oia which is on the northern tip of the island, high on the cliff top. Oia hosts the most magnificent views on Santorini and a picturesque road with cliffs on one side and sea on the other, which leads to this attractive village typical of Santorini’s architecture with houses sunk deep into the volcanic soil, their whitewashed walls and blue domes sparkling in the sunlight.

Day 12 : Ferry from Santorini to Athens. Relax the evening with authentic Folklore show.

Today, proceed to Santorini pier for your ferry to Athens. On arrival, proceed to hotel. (Check-in after 1500 hrs.). End the day with a traditional folklore show with live music and Greek folk dances. Tap your feet to the tunes and join in the dancing.

Day 13 : Time to depart and fly back.

A wonderful Holiday, full of sightseeing and excitement, gracefully ends. Check out by 11:00 and depart for the airport for your return/onward flight.(Breakfast)

    Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those passengers who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.

     

    VISA REQUIREMENTS

         Multiple entry Schengen visa.

         The Schengen Visa on your tour is valid for travel to Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and France (In case of any change in the European Community visa policy, additional charges will be applicable.)

         Any expenses of a personal nature such as porterage, laundry, wines, mineral/bottled water, food & drink not in the regular menus provided by us, mini bar and telephone calls.

          The Mandatory driver tip of EURO 03 per person per day is not included in the tour cost.

         Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available.

         Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in the ‘What your tour price includes’.

    Notes

    ·        The third person in a Triple room might not be provided with an extra bed or cot in some of the hotels, they may be provided only with a rollaway bed.

    ·        Due to Fire Safety Compliance regulations in Europe, 4 guests in 1 room are not allowed in any hotel, therefore 02 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and 1 child will not be accommodated in 01 room. A maximum of 03 persons can be accommodated in a room.

    ·        Panoramic/ Orientation city tour means view from your coach of the sights and monuments as you drive past. No visit to the sights/monuments and no photostop might be provided.

    ·        Due to operational issues on some days, there might be packed meals offered.

    ·        Services of our Tour Manager or local representatives will be available while on tour.

    ·        Kindly note that on certain departure dates the tour routing could change. In some tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary. However, you will not miss any sightseeing or excursions that are mentioned in the itinerary.
