Day 1 : Welcome to Vienna – the capital of Austria

Welcome to Vienna - Austria’s capital, in the country’s east side on the Danube River. Get transferred to your conveniently located hotel. (Check-in on your own after 15:00). Overnight in Vienna. (Dinner)

Day 2 : Enjoy a guided city tour of Vienna with visit to the beautiful Schoenbrunn Palace

Enjoy a guided tour of this musical city - Vienna. View the Hofburg, the former Imperial Palace, built in the 13th century and the former residence of the monarchs of the Habsburg dynasty. View the Austrian Federal President St. Stephens Cathedral, the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna, Opera house, Upper and lower Belvedere Palaces consisting of two buildings set in a Baroque park landscape. Learn the fascinating stories of Vienna’s history, culture, and politics as you travel, tracing back to its Roman roots and involvement in the world wars. Proceed to the Schoenbrunn Palace - the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers. In the palace the residential and state rooms with their original furnishings and decorations convey an authentic impression of the imperial lifestyle. Overnight in Vienna. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3 : On to Salzburg – the famous town where Sound and Music framed. Enroute visit Salt Mine Berchtesgaden - the oldest active salt mine in Germany.

Morning proceed to Salt Mine Berchtesgaden - Visitors are taken on an adventurous guided tour into the very depths of the Salzburg mountain. Get fitted with overalls to protect your clothing before climbing aboard the mine railway and traveling down into the shafts. Follow your guide through a maze of branching tunnels and hear about the fascinating history of Alpine salt-mining. Learn exciting and informative facts about the world underground! Head to Berchtesgaden before heading back to Salzburg to enjoy the charm of this rustic town with alpine views. Later proceed to the city of Salzburg – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mozart's birthplace and the filming location for The Sound of Music movie. Day 4 : Guided tour of Sound and Music city with entrance to Mozart Birth Place

Today we walk through the city and see Salzburg Cathedral- the centrepiece of Salzburg. It stands out as a masterpiece of early baroque art, Residenz Fountain - considered to be the most beautiful fountain in the city of Salzburg, Love lock bridge over Salzac river- a symbol of eternal love. Couples mark their locks with their names or initials and toss the key into the river, Getreide Gasse- a busy shopping street in the historic altstadt of Salzburg, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, It is also known as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart where he lived until the age of 17. Pass Linzer Gasse- yet another beautiful street with its handicrafts, old shops and countless restaurants. Rest of the day free to explore this beautiful city on your own. Overnight in Salzburg. Day 5 : Visit Swarovski Crystal Museum – the dazzling world of crystals. Visit the beautiful city of Innsbruck.

Today morning proceed to Wattens, to visit the Swarovski World of Crystals and marvel at the crystalline works of art. Drive to Innsbruck for an orientation tour of this beautiful city. See the Golden Roof with its gold-plated copper tiles, a characteristic landmark of Innsbruck, walk down cobblestone pathways of Maria Theresien Strasse and relive the medieval European culture. The splendid Alps in the background provide a perfect picture-postcard setting. Overnight in Innsbruck. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 : Onto Geneva - Popularly known as the 'capital of peace’

Today proceed to Geneva - popularly known as the 'capital of peace’. Geneva is the base for some of the world's largest organizations, such as the World Health Organization, the World Trade Organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the World Bank and, of course, the United Nations. Surrounded by the Alps and Jura mountains, the city has views of dramatic Mont Blanc. Enjoy rest of the evening exploring the city on your own. Overnight in Geneva. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7 : Enjoy guided tour of Geneva. Tour of Chamonix

Morning we start with a guided tour of Geneva – view Geneva lake - Switzerland’s largest lake, Flower Clock – a large working clock made of flowers that changes with the seasons, UN Building - office of the United Nations in Geneva is the European headquarters of the UN, the other headquarters being in New York, Broken Chair - a monumental sculpture in wood by the Swiss artist Daniel Berset, Red Cross building. Then we proceed for the mountain resort of Chamonix. Visit the site of the first Winter Olympics. In Chamonix, experience majestic scenery on a drive through the Arve Valley and from the 12,605-foot viewing platform on Europe’s highest mountain. Take the cable car up to Aiguille du Midi, which was the world’s highest cable car ride when it was launched in 1955. Enjoy breathtaking panoramas of this Alpine wonderland, with views into France, Switzerland, and Italy. You will also have the chance to ride the astonishing Montenvers rack railway to the Mer de Glace glacier. The journey on this electric train covers 3 miles of beautiful mountainous scenery before arriving at the longest glacier in France. Wander by foot to discover the town’s many delights, such as Parc Loisir, Musée Alpin, Lac Gaillands or Atelier Les Racines. Chamonix is the world capital for outdoor activities: mountaineering, alpinism, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, aragliding, trail running, and skiing. Later return back to Geneva. Day 8 : Onto Zermatt – the famous ski resort of the Swiss Alps. Optional tour of Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.

Today we proceed to Zermatt- famed as a mountaineering and ski resort of the Swiss Alps. From here you can see the panoramic views of the famous Matterhorn which attract the tourists from all over the world. Rest of the day free to explore the city on your own or you can opt for an Optional tour of Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Overnight in Zermatt. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9 : Onto Lake Como … the third largest lake of Italy.

Morning proceed to Lake Como – on arrival enjoy an orientation tour of this upscale resort area known for its dramatic scenery, set against the foothills of the Alps. The lake is shaped like an upside-down Y, with three slender branches that meet at the resort town of Bellagio. At the bottom of the southwest branch lies the city of Como, home to Renaissance architecture and a funicular that travels up to the mountain town of Brunate. Overnight at Lake Como. Day 10 : Onto Milan … the financial hub of Italy and then depart and fly back home.

Morning proceed to Milan is a global capital of fashion and design. Home to the national stock exchange, it’s a financial hub also known for its high-end restaurants and shops. The Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, housing Leonardo da Vinci’s mural “The Last Supper,” testify to centuries of art and culture. On arrival do a guided tour of the city including view the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Sforzesco Castle, Santa Maria delle Grazie, Teatro alla Scala, Sant Ambrogio, Sempione Park, Monumental Cemetery, San Siro Stadium, Arco della Pace, Quadrilatero della moda. Later proceed to airport for the flight home. (Breakfast)

MEDICAL INSURANCE

Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those passengers who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.

 

VISA REQUIREMENTS

      Multiple entry Schengen visa.

      The Schengen Visa on your tour is valid for travel to Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and France (In case of any change in the European Community visa policy, additional charges will be applicable.)


Others

·        The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 30 full paying passengers traveling together and maximum of 48 passengers or as per coach capacity.

·        Incase passengers want to travel on a particular date and the number of passengers booked are less than 29, there will be a Surcharge applicable on the said date to operate the tour. Kindly check with your Tour operator for the same.

Price Excludes

      The cost of the Passport, POE charges, etc.

      Any expenses of a personal nature such as porterage, laundry, wines, mineral/bottled water, food & drink not in the regular menus provided by us, mini bar and telephone calls.

     The Mandatory driver tip of EURO 03 per person per day is not included in the tour cost.

      Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available.

      Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in the ‘What your tour price includes’.

Notes

·        The third person in a Triple room might not be provided with an extra bed or cot in some of the hotels, they may be provided only with a rollaway bed.

·        Due to Fire Safety Compliance regulations in Europe, 4 guests in 1 room are not allowed in any hotel, therefore 02 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and 1 child will not be accommodated in 01 room. A maximum of 03 persons can be accommodated in a room.

·        Panoramic/ Orientation city tour means view from your coach of the sights and monuments as you drive past. No visit to the sights/monuments and no photostop might be provided.

·        Due to operational issues on some days, there might be packed meals offered.

·        Services of our Tour Manager or local representatives will be available while on tour.

·        Kindly note that on certain departure dates the tour routing could change. In some tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary. However, you will not miss any sightseeing or excursions that are mentioned in the itinerary.

·        Certain sightseeing and excursions may not operate on public holidays.
